Well, two wet swabs and about 20 dozen hundred squeezes on the blower bulb, and I FINALLY almost got a dust free reference image at f/16. at f/11 it's totally clear, so there's that. If the rumors about the D3 and it's penchant for dust collection is true, I'm sure I will have to do it all over again tomorrow.
