Pics for sale!

I'm matting about 25 pics to be sold in a local store and as this is my first time selling shots I'm wondering if it's typical for the photographer to sign them and where to sign them? Any advice?

I sign my images on the printed surface itself.

Most photographers that I have seen and myself included sign the mat.

I too sign on the print!
My digital pictures have my sig on the "mat/frame" though

I would sign the back so that if they ever change mats your signature is still there. That way it doesn't distract from the image either.

No I don't mind at all. It's a store that sells only photographs. I don't know if I could easily categorize it but the store has prints in boxes around the store and other prints in frames hanging on the walls. The photographer decides the price and it's a 60 / 40 split with the store.

The first and fourth one would sell in my art gallery. Nice shots! And sign them on the back and on the mat.
