Pictures look 2-toned. Any idea why or how to fix?

Not sure why, but lately my pictures have been looking like this when I upload them onto my computer. They do not look like this on the camera itself. Does anyone know why this is happening and/or how I can fix it? Thank you!!

I have seen that happen when scanning a negative and the computer (for lack of a better term) "burps". I wonder if there is an issue between your connections and computer? I'm not savvy in computer stuff but, it's just a thought.
