TPF Noob!
Hello, I finally got a chance to take some pictures, with my new camera, of the hobby that got me into photography. Being a pilot, I'm constantly asked to take pictures of property from the air. I don't do it proffesionally, but offer a cheap (free) way to get a picture from up above. I also do all the newsletter, flyers, etc. for airport functions. This flight was to take pictures a seed company that wants to plan development. I wasn't actually flying this day, my dad, who is also a pilot, had the controls. Just a note, I didn't try too hard to take nice artistic photos, just a few snapsonts. Here ya go!
The airplane...a 1976 Cessna 172. We also have another, larger plane, not in the picture This is a great demonstration of the C750s high powered flash. Just two light bulbs light this large hanger.
Where it all happens...aka...my office!
As you can see, it was a very clear day. A neat effect to show motion is to keep the horizon level, and let the airplane be off center.
The busteling downtown. Mainstreet is to the topside of the picture.
Trying the zoom out in this picture. The picture was taken about 1000ft above the ground. Cool shadow huh?
Moo!
Comming in for landing!
Cool shot of a departing plane
Nothing but tail
Lots of snow on the office overhang
