Shot these with my 40d and 50 mm 1.8 lens. I'm very very new to photography but love portraitures. Please critique and give me some inputs. Thanks!

Experiment with silhouette. Pose isn't good. Please advise on exposure.

With that one, I think what she has on is affecting the pose as much as the "pose". If she were nude, you wouldn't see the bulges or the bra/t-shirt strap.

First one looks a teeny bit underdone. . .maybe kick up the contrast and lighten it a tad.

Second one seems a bit soft on the face.
