please help me identify a photographer

I read a piece about him (or her) a year or two ago and have forgotten who he (or she) is. I think his (or her....I'll stop doing this now, I can't remember the gender but will continue as if it's a male) work was mainly large manufactured nocturnal seedy suburban compositions, fastidiously prepared and lit to the point they seemed somewhat contrived, featuring sometimes or always a Hollywood celebrity. I remember Julianne Moore specifically being in one, looking sort of lost and abused within a low rent suburban interior.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Try a google image search. Start with her name. If you don't find anything, try adding in some extra keywords related to the image you recall.

Thanks for the suggestions but it is neither. I think the pictures were a bit David LaChappel (sp.) but instead of ubergaychic there is a pervading sense of sinister true crime-ness. Back to google...
