Pocket Wizard, SB-600, Nikon D3000

Would i be able to sync the sb-600 with a pocket wizard and fire it while only using the entry level Nikon D3000?

Just curious so i dont waste my money to find out i cant, ive tried youtube but it only comes up with higher end cameras

Yes, but you need an adapter. The issue comes up becuase the SB-600 doesnt have the PC cable jack that the sb-800 has.

but shouldnt the pocket wizard plus II have the wireless trigger?

Yes, the PW connects the camera to the flash wirelessly, but that adapter connects the PW to the flash, not camera to flash

Yes, like JimmyO said, you need an adapter, similar to one of these guys:

Also, keep in mind, that with the Plus II's, your max sync speed is still 1/200. It will not enable you to use Auto FP. But with the D3000, you probably won't miss it, because it's not available with that body anyways.
