Pocket wizard X fire canon flash from a nikon camera?

So could a pocket wizard x that is non TTL and has a single pin on the hotshoe, on a Nikon camera fire a Canon flash that is connected via the PC port?

I need 2 extra flashes and only have canon one to borrow, but I am not sure it would work.

A standard PW will fire any flash manually. It's simply a radio light switch. But only the Mini/Flex work with TTL, and the TTL function is brand-specific.

Even those should work if you use them in their simple non-TTL mode.
