Pocket Wizards = Awesome

My Pocket Wizard Flex TT5 finally came in to pair with the mini TT1 I have. I am using this setup with a Speedlite 580EX II and 5D Mk II. Finally, I have high speed synch on a wireless set up! I've set this up wired before, but the cables and restriction in length made it precarious.

Just for giggles, I took a shot with 1/1600 shutter speed and the gear handled it fine. I expected the shot to be a little dark because you get reduced power with the HSS, but I guess the proximity to the subject helped. Now I'll have to see how they perform over time with regular use.

I didn't bother using the RF bag and wonder if anyone has seen a benefit to using it?

Some photographers I work with, started using them this year. They did end up getting the RF sock...I think they said it helped a little, but it was a real PITA to made adjustments on the flash.
