Poloroid cam help

My friend was looking into buying a vintage poloroid cam and asked me if I knew which one of these would be better.

Also if they take film that is still currently being produced? I really have no idea about these guys at all. Any info would be great thank you

Both those appear to be Sx-70. Of course Sx-70 film was discontinued at the beginning of '06. You'd be fairly hard pressed to find the film for it now. You can find a neutral density filter for it, and then you can use polaroid 600 film in the camera. The Sx-70 is a great camera and I got the ND filter for it because so I could keep using it.

The ND filter is available off of ebay from Japan. Also, strategic loading strategies are involved when trying to fit the 600 in the sx-70 because of some tabs on the 600 package.

Perhaps your friend would be better to just get a 600 camera. You can buy them at Thrift stores usually for around $5.
