Poppies are finally out

Took this today. Bad timing, right at noon in bright light with no diffuser. So I had to crawl under the lilac bush to shoot this one instead.

It looks better than this, but I smooshed it pretty good to keep the load time reasonable.

Very nice picture...I recently took a closeup of a Tulip. It was my first closeup of a flower and I'm interested to see how it turned out, although, I have to admit, I don't think It will be a Super one. :roll:

Ah, one of the joys of digital- instant gratification! Don't like that one? Just take another.

Although I am getting my 35mm back from my son late this summer and I'm looking forward to that too. Haven't used it in almost 15 years. That should be entertaining! :shock:
