well i gotta get a portfolio together i was wondering how i should put it together should i have some matted with mat board and some in some kind of binder or something?(this is for colleges to look at during lets say an interview)
Personally I would go with the photos matted. Preferably window mats. They are much easier to handle and view.

You need something that looks like a book, maybe in 11x14. http://www.dickblick.com/zz152/35/ It's easy to transport and professional looking.
Window matts to me; consist of the image taped on a matt (archival matt board and tape) with a flip up window or second board. Not sure if this is the norm anymore and it can get real expensive.
