Possible Malware in the Alienbees vs. Einstein Thread

When I clicked on the thread, it was blocked by my Chrome browser for containing malware. Not sure if anyone else got the same notice. Sorry- can't link thread since it won't let me open it.

It's unlikely to be the thread, more likely that its one of the random rotating ads - sadly if you can't see the page you can't report which ad it is that is giving you the warning. Ads are a way that malware or similar code is sometimes delivered; but without knowing which ad is sparking the report the admin can't act to remove it/have the ad host remove it.

I'm also using an ad blocker, but I get this when I first try to go to the thread:

Google Chrome has blocked access to this page on www.thephotoforum.com.
Content from widget.geavity.com, a known malware distributor, has been inserted into this web page. Visiting this page now is very likely to infect your computer with malware.
Malware is malicious software that causes things like identity theft, financial loss, and permanent file deletion.

Probably not much help - I'm guessing the widget... is the script used for rotating the ads.

I had the same problem with chrome earlier
you can select to continue though I didnt
