...something I am considering for the New Year

Big images, at least 20"x24", I'm pricing Cibachromes here at $175 apiece, though that's the first quote. Given that maybe 7 out of 10 images are originated on 35mm transparency, and that all have been scanned, is printing on some kind of inkjet paper a possibility? I am new to digital so have no clue what the industry standard paper might be; there is no need for archival permanence though I love the impact of Cibas.

Your help and advice always appreciated.

Yes, it is. Inkjet printing of digital, or digitized, images is also known as "Giclee Printing".
