Problems I am having - don't know why?

Yup that's the best solution.
Easier said than done. I am answering this in Chrome and it isn't any better than IE in terms of response. In fact, I can type a letter and count to 2 or 3 sometimes before it shows up in the posting. This is not good

That's NOT a browser problem. It sounds like you have bigger system issues that are causing the issues.
I would agree with you. The problem is "where to start" to look for them? Any ideas/thoughts? Thanks.

My honest opinion from nothing but a crude hobbyist knowledge is routing to this server and something in-between causing timeouts. Mainly due to one site being the problem not many. Chasing the route may help, but may just identity the culprit in your way and out of your control.

I agree, there is probably something going on between me and the "web". At one point in the "game", I probably could gave worked on this stuff, but the technology is just gone beyond me in the past few years - being retired, I have no need to keep up. I am not sure how to ping the TPF server to see if there is a problem along the route, but I will work on it.

Try using a proxy server, if it is something in the routing that will likely fix it.

I haven't a clue on how to do this as I am at the mercy of my ISP provider and whatever they provide is what I get. Maybe I should talk to them - we'll see. I don't like to complain to much because the "help desk" people aren't really all that knowledgeable (been there before) and it just gets frustrating for them and me. Also, I am not convinced it is their problem - yet...:biggrin-93:
