terrific pose and capture! i would kind of like more surroundings with the subject, especially at the bottom, and little bits on the sides. of course that is just my opinion. cropping is a very very controversial issue, so i'm sure you'll hear different things from different people. this is a beautiful shot!

Interesting shot but something seems odd here...there seems to be a halo around the outside of the lion...a first it almost looks like it was PSed into the surroundings but could be something else. I agree that a less tighter crop would help a bit, but the pose is pretty cool...and a bit scary
