Is this a good lens for nature and wildlife?
Tamron 18-270mm f/3.5-6.3 Di-II VC LD Asph. AF Macro Lens

'Nature and Wildlife' is a very broad category. If you are looking for birds, that lens will be too short. For some landscapes, you may even find 18mm too long. As a general focal length range, 18-270 will cover a lot of ground. The lens is not particularly fast and you may find yourself unable to get good images at the peak times of day for wildlife watching (early am and late pm) unless your camera handles high ISO well.

I would go nothing less than 400MM and a prime lens will give better image quality, primes are always sharper than zooms ,more expensive but worth every dollar .
