Hello everybody ,

I'm using a Nikon D300.... , on the hotshoe , i've got a SU-800 remote commander wich controls my strobes ........ 2 x SB 200 and 1 x SB 800 .
This is working more than perfect and i'm verry happy with this setup :)
Now i would like to buy and add 2 softboxes ( Linkstar FS-300D ) to my setup

Now i would like to know if it's possible to let them flash with a remote controller ( also from linkstar )

http://www.fotorubens.be/content/fot...1898&pID=10774

On the site it said " The transmitter should be mounted on the hot shoe of your camera or through the synch cord, which is included in delivery, on the sync socket of the camera. The receiver will be mounted on the flash through the sync cord via phone jack and rubber connector. "

As i'm using my hot shoe of my D300 for my commander it's not possible to connect the transmitter from linkstar here .
I need my 3 flashes ( on M mode ) to work together with the softboxes .

Does anybody have some experience with this , wil this set up work together ?
In the store they couldn't really give me an answer :-( ( they thought it would work but were not sure , it was my own risc )

I've recently started again with photography after 2 years or so , i'm definitly not a pro about this so if anybody out there could help me out a bit , that would be much appreciated !

The transmitter is only mounted there for convenience. It triggers via the sync chord. The real question is can the camera trigger the hotshoe and the sync chord simultaneously.

I don't see any reason why this wouldn't work.
