What settings do u all use in terms of resolution? I use the largest I can on mine which is 2048x1536, but what I really would like to know is if there is a big difference betweeen the quality modes such as, Normal, Fine and Super fine. I was using Superfine and tried using Fine without noticing much difference, is there a time to use low quality verses high? I'm very new to the hobby and appreciate any info or recommondations, thanks, Lee

for most cameras:
superfine - no compression
fine - little compression
normal - high compression

basically, with jpeg compression, you will only notice it around contrast color edges. Like if you're photographing a black piece of paper on a white background, you'll see that there's little tiny fragments around the edges of the black paper. Compression doesn't look too nice on gradient colors either, if compression is set too high, you will see descernable chunks of color rather than a smooth gradient.

resolution:
I always use the highest I possible setting (same goes for file quality).
