Questions regarding best 1 yr photography program in N. America

Hi,

I was searching the web for advice regarding the most appropriate schools for a one year photography program, and came across this website. I was hoping to find some help. I'll be graduating with a Bachelors in Psychology in April 2009, but have always been passionate about the field of photography. I have decided to pursue this profession and have been browsing schools.

If anyone could provide me with guidance or advice, I would really appreciate it. I've short listed, hallmark institute of photography as Ive been reading alot gud about it. But was wondering if a one year program would be sufficient to entire the market or should I aim for a BFA in schools like Brooks, Cal Arts, Parsons, NYU, SFSU. Pls advice.
