At first I thought I knew it and infact had it but I was wrong now I need to download it from somewhere. What is the name of that font, or better yet anyone got a link to a download of it?

I don't have time to search fonts for a font with out a name so any help would be apprieciated.

I haven't the slightest idea of how you could even figure that out.

Start downloading every font you can think of?

That's a pretty cool little search engine. You upload an image of a font, or link to it, and it searches to find matches.

I already checked for that font, it didn't have any matches. The were a few that were pretty similar (the E's were different), but it didn't have one that was exactly the same.

This isn't exactly the same, but it's pretty damn close (the R's are slightly different).... EF Handel Gothic Light
It's not free though, it costs $35. Armed with the name of it, you might be able to find it for free somewhere though.

Ouch, price is too steep for my intentions, but you are right that It may help find it for free.

Sadly and oddly enough the R is one letter that has to be exact as it is in the companies name.

but there may be some variations of it.

Try isohunt.com. You'll need a bit torrent client to download the .torrent files (I like µTorrent, but there are others), but you can download pretty much anything.

Is there any way you could ask them what font it is? Or maybe get some .jpg's of the logo, or what ever you need to type in that font. (Not sure how much text you're going to need, so that may or may not work.)

I'll take a look at that when I can, right now I am trying to fix a screw up

I just put a rental inventory index together upside down :banghead:

For free fonts (many are free, others are free for "personal use"), you can't beat dafont.com

There's a font on there called Steiner that might work for you. You'd have to add a stroke to beef it up though since it doesn't have a bold version.. If it doesn't have to be exact, there are a lot of other fonts that you might like. http://www.dafont.com/steiner.font?nb_ppp=50&af=on&text=CUSTOMER+REPLY

I go to dafont all the time, in fact it's where I got the font from the second post, I somehow over looked that, I'll have to see what it looks like in bold to know for sure but....

Hertz and [JR] negitive on those

They have others.

The trouble with free fonts is that they often have glitches (trouble with spacings, odd letters, etc). They are frequently 'proper' fonts that have been modified by people using something like Fontographer.
I shelled out the bucks to get a professional font library - it was worth it just for Gil Sans.
