How did you get the raindrops to light up like that - was the sun shining at the same time, does a flash do that or did you use extra lighting?

The sun was shining, shots taken just before sunset, all natural light. The highlight on his head is a little harsh. I squeezed off a few others some of which are probably better- but this one had the boy smiling so I served it up for his grandmother.
