1 & 3 are exceptional. 6 reminds me of some of my more nerve-wracking dreams.

Oooooo I am so in love with 1, 3 and 4!!!
The play with the light you used is just amazing!

And as someone who has recently detected her love for the straightforward lines of modern architecture I also like the last very much. The man gives it an element of life, so this one does not look like a "after a nuclear bomb attack photo" (this is what my sister calls photo of towns and places for which the photographer waited until nobody would be in their frames, absolutely no one, which makes them look as if everyone's dead).

1 is great...that turned out amazing.....

6 for some reason i really like...has kind of a nice dirty feel

I like 2,3 and 7 very nice and the water ones just made me goto the loo

Thanks, everybody. The water ones were fun to take, but were a realy pain to clean up after! :p

I'm trying to push myself in a lot of different directions right now, in terms of my photography. I think this set of photos kind of reflects that. I like the fact that I can actually visibly see the progress I'm making. If I had only started photography before I got so old!

LaFoto: Actually, I felt that if I had overexposed the old man any more, it probably would have been a good "during a nuclear bomb attack photo."

The Quick-n-Dirty on The Quarters

Shot with a single tethered speedlight behind and above the coins. I focused manually, set the camera for a round F12 and 1/500. I had the flash on manual, but I can't remember what setting. In the distance is a black piece of matteboard. My wife and I proceeded to spin the quarters on the table, and I mashed the shutter release until they all fell down. We the repeated that about five times. I had a lot of failures on these. :p

Three more. I guess this is becoming my "diary thread."
