This street was recently developing a depression right about where it now has cracked and raised asphalt marked by the traffic cones. Muddy water is bubbling up in three or four places. There's got to be a cavern under the street by now scoured out by the water under pressure. It broke to the surface overnight last night. Folks are still driving through the intersection.

We'll be standing by for a photo of the car in the cavern. Nice shots.

that looks like a water main break. you and your neighbors should blow up your water company or municipality's office phone number. and boil your water before you use it.

don't hold your breath on the infrastructure funding. we haven't had decent funding in the 40 years that his majesty has politicked for our state, the next 4 won't be any different.

Yep, here's an update as of about 30 minutes ago -- water pipes, if they're original were installed approx. 120 years ago.

glad you're getting some movement out there. please make sure to boil your water, all kinds of bacteria get in it when there's a main break.
And boil for at least ten minutes or else it can still make you sick. ;)
