I say call them. I would imagine these companies have a way of putting in comments about customers and if you were to do that you would forever be in their gold club, meaning that when you have a problem with something they would bend over backwards to help you. In any future situation where they would have to take your word for it they would be ten times more likely to believe you. If nothing else this is a karma credit.

That right there is reason enough for me...

I can't count the times that I 'did someone a favor' and had the favor returned.

That said though, I wouldn't count on it. They're in the business to make money. Rich people don't get rich by giving everyone money, same goes for large companies.

It is my belief that character is defined by what we do when know one is watching.

It is easy to do the "right thing" with the world watching.
