Recommend a good online tutorial for Photoshop

I come from the age of film, use an elderly version of PS(6 and not upgrading) for basic stuff crop/levels/clone/dodge etc are about all I use

I have a pic where someone suggested using layers to fix the colour issue, but I haven't a clue where to start.
