Red face in Shade WB

Hi all,
I just wanted to know that is it a good idea to shoot in daylight WB in a shady environment ? I got some cool soothing effects as I was getting some horrible red faces in Shade WB. Also what can I do to reduce red faces as much as I can ? Using Cannon 650D. Thanks in advance.

Shoot in raw and then the WB can be more easily corrected.

Frankly, shooting in RAW and using a White Balance card are the two handiest things I've come up with to keep color tones looking good. If you're camera is capable of it, learn how to set a custom white balance in the camera, and you'll be amazed at how good your WB becomes!
