Thank you. There are tons of them along the Lakeshore. They don't normally get close to you but at Humber Bay Park they have the nesting platforms close to walkways and these ones weren't too bothered.

Next year we may need to set up a time where me and my dad come up to you

Jr. there are floating nest platforms on Toronto waterfront at Humber Bay Park East (these are within 10m of the walkway so very popular spot for people) and also at Col. Samuel Smith Park (these float further away) . Both are off Lakeshore Blvd and close to eachother ... and you can also hit High Park (lots of Wood Ducks in the small ponds by the playground) which is also in the area.
