Red Rose - Improvements?

I've seen a lot of great macro shots on here so I wanted to try one when I saw a beautiful rose in my garden. I didn't touch this up at all. What do you think? Please keep in mind, the cropping was intended to be a widescreen wallpaper (it's my current wallpaper). I'm open to different cropping as long as it's in the same proportions (16:9).
