Reddish Egret

I took my newly acquired Nikon D810 for a test run. I was going to go for sunset shot at the beach. However, the sky was not too dramatic for my taste so I just dropped by the ecological reserve wetlands for a few shots of birds. I was lucky enough to spot a reddish egret fishing at the time. Here are some of the shots. First five are in sequence (1 missed focus - deleted). My arms were tired after about an hour or so of shooting handheld the D810 + Sigma 120-300mm Sport + 1.4X Teleconverter. I will probably bring a tripod with me next time.

Very nice sequence, with the added bonus (for me) that these are not available in my locale.

Very nice - I really like the sequence. I am hoping to find some of these on my upcoming trip to Florida.
