Mystic River Bridge - wonderful place to stay for our first visit to USA.

No Smoking in hotel so reduced to an early morning stroll along the river with my pipe and camera - worth it just for the light!

cool reflection...I'm thinking I would have stepped back a bit, and tried this as a horizontal pic though. The composition just doesn't quiet do it for me. Good work in catching that neat reflection though! Keep postin!

You got some nice light there, forced out of the hotel as you were in order to smoke . And the water is nicely calm and therefore reflects that bridge construction well ... that is one interesting bridge! It can lift the whole street section up for tall ships to pass? Wow.
So I take it you are not at home in Ely right now, but in the States? Whereabouts is this? Looks northern to me, northeastern...

It is Mystic CT - home of the Seaport Museum - needless to say there are many shots of this bridge for me to work through now I am back home!
