regional food (S/O ..Misconceptions)

I miss pizza and McDonalds when I go abroad. (especially the new honey mustard chicken wraps... so yummy!!)

But I have to admit... I miss a "fast food" called Paul's. It's in Paris and they have this wonderful Baugette with ham and butter. And then the Strawberry Tarttes. If you ever visit Paris... you gotta have Paul's. I think it is on the Champs de l'esay (I know I misspelled that, sorry) east of the Arc de Triomph.

Oh sorry. No, I can't - I don't make my own bread. And I don't know how many different sorts of bread we can get. 2000? I suppose so. Every little bakery has their own recipes and produce their own breads.
What I like about our bread is that when you bite it, you have to BITE it. It is much more solid than any bread anywhere else in the world where it is invariably softer than here.

Dimitri: stuffed wine leaves ... is "exotic" food to me, but I LOVE them!
