I was just wondering if anyone could tell me how to remove the lines on the face and just clean up the image altogether.

any other suggestions on how to improve the image are also very welcome.

Thanks for any help.

Your best bet is probably going to be the cloning tool in PS. But it won't be easy, try the healing brush also if you have CS. The colors and clarity can be helped with curves and with hue/saturation adjustments. I'd be tempted just to turn it to black and white though :)

I'll have a play with it for you and see how it goes if that's ok?

Sure. I turned it black and white as well, but I'd like to try and fix this and try some other things with it.

1. Select the forehead area with the lasso tool
2. Feather 2 pix
3. Layer/New/layer via Copy
4. Filter/Noise/Median (6 pix)
5. Filter Noise/ add noise (1 pix)
6. Set top layer to lighten mode
7. Flatten image
