Hello,

I am posting this photo I took of a clock tower in Richmond like at 3am. There is noise because of the ISO, but I didn't want to remove it just yet, just to see what the thoughts were on it so far. I used Photomatix Pro with 3 exposures. I also did editing to remove the bridge on the left and to lower some saturation of certain colors. On the left is the original medium exposure, and the right is the HDR. What do you think? On the whole process. Oh and yes, I wish I could have gotten the base of the building as well - I just don't have a wide enough lens. I suppose I could have taken several and done photo stitching, but I would probably not have been able to get the exposures exactly the same.

Beautiful subject. To avoid the loss of detail, I would have tried processing this as a single pseudo HDR RAW shot with this subject and lighting.

Also, could you possibly shoot a bit from the right or another angle instead of head-on? It might create more perspective interest as well.
