I know you've bought Trey's stuff because I've seen you in the clubhouse. If you subscribe to his style and thinking, remember what Trey says about saturation in a photo... Your eye quickly becomes tired of looking at the saturated part of the image and will float to unsaturated portions of the image. Unfortunately here there's really not too much to look at in the unsaturated portions.

Overall I think it is a great shot that needs a little more work!

Here's the raw files should if anyone would like to take attempts at processing this image.
The scene offers some complexities such as the palm has severe movement,Noise due to the Iso
Wave movements and of course the available light & blur in one of the shot's. So essentially this is an
image that requires a bit more paying attention to bringing a balance between recovering details in the
sky,foreground,palm,waves etc.. But hey give it a try would love to see what you come up with and then
you can get an understanding of how I processed this image and some of the challenges it offered & how
I managed to get the result I got out of it. Have fun

Here's another edit I did of it but it still doesn't seem right

So I brought the image somewhere between the original post and the 2nd edit above and came up with this 3rd final edit
which brings a mixture of both
