i am off to egypt on a diving expedition in about a months time and was thinking about getting a dryzone 100 back pack? i can get one off ebay.com (about £110 inc shipping) for less than .co.uk (£150)

i'm staying on a boat for most of the trip and was wandering whether anyone has done anything similar and if i NEED a dryzone bag? i have around £1000/$1800 worth of gear....

Are you going down the nile? If so, I took that trip and all I have to say is bring a ton of film I ran out and had to buy there at a good mark up. Also, Egypt has the best sun sets I have ever seen in my life and I have see a few, granted I was up all night in a bar but that is besides the point. To your question I would ask what type od boat is it? If you are going on a bigger boat, 40 feet +, you just have to worry about the getting on and off part they use 8 inch wide plank for that. I almost fell in a few times, other then that but the boat was dry. So be safe be dry and have a great trip!! you will love it Post some pics!!!
