These were taken this summer and this past winter. C and C welcome as always as well as I was wondering if anyone would have pointers about how to perhaps make them pop just a bit more. Thanks

i hvae some version that have better pop, can we post edited versions?

i edited them in picasa (so nothing fancy) bumped up highlights, fill light and shadows at varying degrees and got some neat results.

first one didn't have much to work with (or at least not with my limited abilities) so i think i only sharpened it

the 2nd and 3rd ones i fiddled with the levels and sharpened them.

Altering the levels really worked for the last two but I think the first image was just born to be b/w. I would convert and up the contrast for a more dramatic look. Also, if you really wanted to play with photoshop you could try adding some dramatic clouds from another photograph.
