While on holiday to the west coast last week I missed out on all the herons, curlews, cormorants and any other birds you can think off as I hand my lens I use for landscapes, but I did manage to swap lens in time to capture a couple of robins!

First time I've photographed any type of bird since mid September so I'm glad it was of a beautiful robin!

Your robins certainly look different than ours here in North America - but they are just as lovely! Perky, inquisitive little guys. :)

Hope somebody got rid of that bit of trash on the bench, so the wildlife isn't tempted to spread it around - ugh!

Thanks, you can hear them constantly at the moment, especially early morning or late evening.
