Hello each and everyone

Just joined to day, will be looking to pick your brains and improve the pictures I take.

I use a Sigma SD9, had it for about a year, I like it, but its a bit heavy weighs 2 & 3/4lbs with a 18/50 lens fitted, the other drawback is that the flash is an extra.

I shall probably be asking some really daft questions, that is daft to you but not to me. Hope you are tolerant with us old folk who are a bit past their sell by date. My wife of 50+ years often says I shouldn't really be allowed out.

Welcome to TPF, Rod. No question about Photography can ever be considered daft so ask away. We'll try to help.
And as for old - I'm 164 so don't worry about it. ;-)
