Hello everyone,

Does anyone owns one ? What's your thoughts about it?

Just wondering if it's worth, price is $289.

Thank you

Awesome lens. It performs very well. Sharp, contrasty, nice color, and shoots into the sun without much contrast loss.

Manual focus isn't really a problem. At F8 and 2ft almost everything is in focus including your feet if you're not careful.

Stereographic projection? Yes. Read here...

I picked up mine LNIB for $200. One of the best bargains ever.

I couldn't resist and got mine too!!!
OMG I paid $289... ):
I just want for fun , I don't think I can use for family or kids portraits...
I was worried about getting too much distortion ( hate those pics that people look like fish - big ears, big nose and small mouth) lol...
I'll post a pic soon
Thank you for the advice about the aperture !!!!!!

Tks for the link!

$289 is well worth it. I just got lucky. If you want to try straight lines and use Lightroom the lens profile for the 10.5 Nikkor works very well.

Have fun.

Samyang makes the lens and brands it for many other companies like Rokinon, Vivitar, Bower.......

Interesting...
Tks
