Roof Shots

Hi, just joined this forum some amazing photos on here. Hoping to learn some new techniques to take better photos. Some quick info about me I'm 20 years old from Bosnia living in NYC since summer of 1993. I'm into photography as a hobby at the moment something to do that i enjoy, might look into pursing a carrier in it down the line. All my photos were taken using the Sony DSC-W7, their all for the most part touched up with photoshop. Reason i edit them is because and maybe its me but with the camera i cant capture the mood, lighting, colors the way i would like too, and i like playing around with Photoshop. Purchased a Panasonic - Lumix DMC-FZ7 recently cant wait for it to come hoping to be able to try out new things with it. Here are some photos i took off my roof the buildings you see in the background are located in Manhattan.

Well first of, Welcome to TPF, and secondly nice images. Though you may want to arrange them one on top the other, instead of side by side. Makes it tougher on viewing the images. Nice work though.

i would assume these are HDR as there is way to much detail in both the shadows and the skies. but very nice pictures.
