Ok well here is a photo I took while in the Rose Garden in Duluth, Minnesota. How could I have made it better?

EDIT: Just realized border is reddish, will fix later.

I'll put forth a few suggestions:

(1) The image needs to be straightened; there are very few occasions where a horizon shouldn't be horizontal! ;)

(2) The large bloom in the foreground in just soft enough to be distracting. Had you the DoF of to keep this sharp, it would have worked really well, but IMHO, because of how large and bright it is, it detracts from the image.

(3)A slight levels and curves tweak to reduce the highlights and shadows slightly.

Overall, a nice image with lots of interest. The use of a graduated ND filter may have helped with the exposure as well, but as-is, it's acceptable.

Colors seem a little over-saturated to me. But I could be wrong.
