A detail of a very large sculpture - two closely positioned slabs of metal - by Chris Knight, called "Desire". It is designed to rust in the salt-laden sea air of Blackpool's promenade.

The only thing it's short of is just a spot of light on the upper & lower spikes on the left hand panel. No doubt that would be available on the day when the sky isn't that blue in Blackpool (the other 364 of them probably).

I meant to ask, are you Blackpool based at all, as a lot of your shots come from there?

Thanks for the comment Chris. The out of camera shot has a bit more detail on the "dark side" of the image, but I upped the contrast with Curves (and reduced the detail) to give the image a bit more graphic punch. I don't live in Blackpool Chris, but am within striking distance - Poulton le Fylde! I find that, for all its shortcomings, Blackpool provides a wealth of photographs.
