Rylee - Lighting Critique

I was trying something a little different with my lighting set up. I lit from behind and to the side with my brightest light. Anyway, what do you all think about it?

your lighting setup works well, it looks natural. If you had lit from the front, you wouldn't have the same atmosphere. Well done. Only critique I would add is; Either iron the background or crumple it up more than it is, so it looks more deliberate.

I intended to have her farther forward and use a shallow depth of field to hide it some, but it's hard to get an 18 month old to follow direction. Next time I'll take your advise.

Very cute. I like how she's looking down.
As for the lighting, I personally would have gone with something a little brighter. Although I like the bold colors, maybe lightening it a bit would have been better?
