I got her a D7500 camera, and 5 cards with 170 mb/S so the card is actually faster than the camera is.

Great, I'm glad you got something suitable, and that kind of speed will be faster than the camera is capable of so she'll get the best performace of her camera.

with my secondary camera Fujifilm X100F is write speed to the card truly horrific ... Nikon doesn't have this issue .. you should be fine with standard 170MB/s card and you will never reach speeds above ~ 100MB/s anyway so no need to burn the money with buying 300MB/s card and get disappointed afterwards that there is no change
