Scene of the Crime

We stumbled upon this scene in the river valley this weekend. Couldn't pass up the opportunity.

that really is a great find. Nice colors too. What are we going to do now that all the leaves have fallen and the snow isn't even in site yet. It will be solid brown before we know it.

very imaginative title, I think it does give the picture a dark and creepy feel or rather it's the dark tree trunks combine with the red spot...

uberben: I know. The place already smells like rotting plants. It will be disgusting mess soon enough.

LaFoto: I'm not actually sure what happened. There were a few other smaller red spots like this nearby. Maybe one branch on a tree turned red while the others turned yellow?
