Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
I need Help!
I tried to open a new file in PSC2 but the error message "scratch disk is full" appears.

Could anyone tell me what I can do to be able to open new files again?

Thank you!

several times!
I'm even defragmenting my harddisk to get some additional space but I don't know if that will do any good... I'm lost here!

close all windows your not using.... if you can reduce the document size... i.e flatten layers, discard unwanted effects, then do so. This is all off the top of my head, but you can also adjust scratch disks in the ps prefernces... basically whats happening is theres too much open, memorywise, than it can handle.

additional:... free up disk space.... the one scratch disks is allocated to... which is probably your main one.

Thank you!
I will try to do this!
maybe I have to many programms running at a time!

If you have another hard disk you could also assign that as a secondary hard disk.

im not using PS but in Gimp, you go into settings/preferences and increase the allocation of space specified for the applications 'scratch disk'...i.e you may not have run out of physical-space - just exceeded the presently stated buffer-size.
