Hi everyone,

I recently upgraded from a D60 to a D5000. Not sure if its just me, but the image playback screen feels like it has a lot of noise on my images only when i take pics that are under exposed (low light), but when i view them on the PC, it is fine. This never happend to me on my D60, so is the screen quality of the D60 better than D5000?

Please help,
Thanks.

Just did some research and found they have the same lcd pixels

D5000

• 2.7" TFT LCD
• 230,000 pixel TFT

D60

• Articulated
• 2.5" TFT LCD
• 230,000 pixel TFT

Strange.

You are not viewing the actual image on the back of the camera. You are viewing a thumbnail imbedded into the image file.

Yeah I know that, but I expected the output of the thumbnail to be the same quality as the D60.

I wouldn't worry about the quality of the thumb. It's the real image that concerns me.

That is so true, thanks dude. I guess it doesn't really matter.
