Seamless Single Hook Mod

Have you ever had to use seamless in a low ceiling location shoot? If you use the Manfrotto Expan system or other brands similar to it, the Art. 059 Single Hook won't let you get the paper right up to the ceiling.

A simple modification by tracing the cutout of one hook onto the other hook in an opposing angle and then removing the metal so the Expan has a new slot will raise your seamless more than 6 inches. Reversing the hook so the Expan supports rather than hangs the roll gains you this height.
