Selective Coloring, does this work?

Probably on a computer. I don't think that even advanced DSLR's have this ability

Actually my camera has special effects and it does selective color

Like Echoing Whisper said, most entry level and consumer DSLR's can do this in camera. Generally, it the camera still has 'scene' modes, it will probably have lots of other gimicky editing built in as well.
